My clowning began with a charity event when my father, who had been a clown for many years, asked me to assist him. Fortunately for me, my first time, my father’s assistant was ill. So I got my start making balloons for over 100 children at the Brunswick Eagle Family Christmas Party. He taught me for a day and I caught on quickly. We made balloon animals for a few hours. This is when I realized my father’s love for clowning. When I handed those children a balloon, the joy I saw on their faces was so precious that their joy was instantly mine. The smile on their faces and the twinkle in their eye captured my heart like nothing before.
After this charity event, people were asking me if I do private events and so my career began. Currently, I perform at children’s birthday parties, block parties, family picnics, work parties, school events, church events, campground events, holiday parties and may other special occasions. My work involves many charity events including, The March of Dimes, Relay for Life, Community Fun Days and other community events such as festivals and carnivals! I am also able to do special event themed centerpieces, for events such as baby showers, fund raisers and adult birthday parties.
In 2009, I realized life does not always have to be so serious. We should make time to laugh and have fun. When I saw that smile on that child’s face in the beginning, I knew clowning, giving children and adults such pleasure, would make my life complete.
Currently I work along side some of the most respected entertainers in the area.
